how eyelet sage studio began

Eyelet sage studio began in March of 2009 with a couple of card designs created by Melanie, the owner and designer of eyelet sage. Melanie received a degree in advertising, but upon finding little work due to the economy decided to take a chance with some of her designs and start posting and selling them online.

The name “eyelet sage” came after a long and arduous process of a couple of years with testing names and discarding them. The final name “eyelet sage” was created fairly spontaneous and stuck. Eyelet sage is a combination of the designer’s love of eyelet lace trimmed sheets and her favorite color, sage green. It is a true blend of the designer’s design styles.

Eyelet sage is currently a home based studio near Portland, OR. All the designer needs is a little room for a laptop, some space to think, and a little room for her supplies. She really does not need much room to thrive.
